The main laboratory (8-139) and the office of Professor Suresh (1-206) are located in Building 8 and Building 1 on the main MIT campus.
Some experimental labs and offices are located on the second and third floor of 500 Technology Square (NE47) in the Biological Engineering Division.

The Nanomechanics Lab investigates mechanical properties of engineered and biological materials at the nano to macro-scale using experimental, analytical, and computational techniques.
Current research projects include studies of nanostructured materials as well as exploring connections between biological cell mechanics and human disease states.
